- Standardize Input Method common structure Input Method: Technology that allows Korea, China and Japan to enter their own characters on the alphabet-based keyboard of a computer

Implemented Activities in 2005
- Agreed on Directives (Composed o f2 Parts) - Part 1 : Process for standardization/Part 2 : Documentation rules for standardization
- Input Method standardization - Objective : Standardize input method engines which vary in the three countries to submit it to the FSG(Free Standard Group)
- OSS Embedded Linux Solution Map Technology Report - Korea presented this suggestion, and WG3 at the meeting in Seoul on Dec. 14 agreed to designate a contact point of each country and create a Feasibility Study Group
- Shared the information on the current status of CJK’s web standard - Major problems included the wrong usage of Java script, use of ActiveX (eg. Internet banking), and the incorrect use of HTML tag (which is not in compliance with the W3C standard).

- Formed sub working groups by specialty area - SWG1 : Input Method Engine Interface → Draft multilingual input engine interface specifications - SWG2 : Web interoperability → Write technological reports on web interoperability
