• Created the CJK Software Promotion Forum in 2003
• April 3, 2004 : 1st CJK Director-General Meeting & OSS Forum in Beijing - Signed an MOU on Cooperation at the CJK Director-General level, Secretariat (KIPA, IPA, CSIA)
• July 28, 2004 : 2nd Sapporo Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum - Agreed on the creation of working groups (Technological development test, HR development, standardization research)
• Dec. 3, 2004 : 3rd Seoul Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum - Agreed on cooperation projects by WG and plans for 2005
• April 12, 2006 : 4th Tianjin Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum - Agreed on cooperation projects in detail by WG
• November 21, 2006 : 5th Fukuoka Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum - Continue to discuss information sharing and policies and the introduction of ODF within the forum, and began to establish web sites and rules
• September 12, 2007 : 6th Seoul Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum - Make efforts to expand the use and the user base of open source software and support WG activities
• October 30, 2008 : 7th Wuxi Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum
• October 21, 2009 : the 8th Tokyo Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum
• November 3, 2010 : the 9th Seoul Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum
• October 18, 2011 : the 10th Xi'an Northeast Asia Open Source Software Promotion Forum
