Conducted three cooperative projects
- OpenDRIM project

Completed the development of OpenDRIM Suite 2008 (October 2008)
- Crackerjack project

Completed Crackerjack version 2.0 (April 2008)
* Completely integrated 191 out of 300 test items

Conducted activities in collaboration with the other open source projects such as LTP
(Linux Test Project) and Autotest
*Waiting for the test results of CJK
- Security project

SEEN sub project
Completed the development of security model prototype (October 2008)

SELinux management & control development sub project
: Completed the development of OpenDRIM-based SELinux provider (March 2008)

Ran two task forces
- Examined ways to promote open source desktop

No activity
- Identified web interoperability problems

No activity
*No activity in CJK

- OpenDRIM Project: Develop resource management technology using standards based Linux system

* Korea (ETRI): Develop resource management engine, China : Develop management solutions, Japan : Test resource management engine

- Crackerjack Project: Develop the tools to test interoperability between different versions of Linux kernel

* Korea (Businesses), China & Japan : Allocate test items for each country and develop them (100 items/ country), Japan : Integrate test results

- Security Project: Divided into two subprojects

1) Develop security modules

2) Develop modules to manage and control SELinux

* SEEN Project

Korea ( Chonnam University ): Development, China : Test evaluation, Japan : Test evaluation

* SELinux management & control project

Korea (ETRI): Support technology for OpenDRIM , China : Test evaluation, Japan : Development

* SELinux: Well known open source software and secure operating system, which was developed by US National Security Agency (NSA)

Launch two task forces

- Research how to promote OSS desktop

* Korea (KIPA), China and Japan : Write a report on each country's current status on OSS desktop and share the findings

- Research web interoperability problems

* Korea (KIPA), China and Japan : Write a report on each country's web interoperability problems and share the findings

* Difference between projects and task forces: While the end result of a project is source code, that of a task force is a document such as a report. A task force is a previous step of a project, which can be turned into a project.
