Develop a curriculum for CJK open source HR development model
- Agreed to review the model curriculum suggested by Japan in 2007, and announce NEA OSS HRD Model Curriculum Ver. 1.0 in 2008
Select recipients for Special Contribution Awards and grant the awards
- Select from each country two outstanding contributors for the development of open source software (Separate from the recipients of Open Source Contest)
- Agreed to develop each country's domestic criteria and procedures for selection, and to engage in the discussion on how to implement a CJK joint award ceremony

- This contest is taking place every year. As for Korea, KIPA organizes this event.

- At the forum in China (current coordinator country) in 2008, CJK members agreed to identify and introduce each country's representative open source textbooks
